Job summary

The position requires 5+ years of CNC experience, 5-axis capability preferred, and the ability to develop and refine machining methods while ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced experience with multi-axis CNC machines (5-axis strongly preferred).
• Experience machining complex components to tight tolerances.
• Experience with prototype machining, process development, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot advanced CNC machines (5-axis preferred) for prototype development and R&D.
• Machining precision components with close tolerances and high-quality finishes.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and refine machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
• Support prototype builds, first-piece development, and machining trials.
• Perform full machine setups including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and verification.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T requirements to ensure accuracy.
• Document machining processes and best practices for standardization and training.
• Provide guidance to machinists and maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards.
