Edwards is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III for our new Buffalo facility in Western New York. You will operate advanced machines, mentor junior machinists, and drive continuous improvement across part families.

Candidates should have 8+ years of CNC experience, strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills, and proven leadership. This role offers excellent benefits and the opportunity to contribute to a major production program at Edwards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
• Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
• Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.
• Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.
• Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups as needed.
