Job summary

Weco Manufacturing in Rochester, MN is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to safely operate and set up CNC machining centers and related equipment according to established programs and tooling. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and performing process troubleshooting with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include debugging and optimizing manufacturing processes, inspecting parts, and training CNC Operators.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of CNC machine coordinates systems.
• 5+ years related experience or training is required.
• Must be able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Must be able to diagnose process problems and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines and other production equipment with minimal supervision.
• Debug and optimize manufacturing processes for assigned jobs or machines.
• Inspect and measure parts, document results, and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Train CNC Operators in safe machine operation and procedures.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and clean machinery as instructed.
