Tecomet in Newton Lower Falls, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating, setting up CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role may involve some programming; candidate should ensure product quality, follow GMP/GDP, and assist with fixture redesigns to improve productivity. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

High School diploma or GED or equivalent (as per job listing).
5+ years CNC Machining experience is required.
Associate degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship is preferred.
GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrams.

Mansioni

Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
Propose new production set ups and change offsets/tooling.
Perform difficult CNC machinist work with very close tolerances.
Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
Maintain quality and safety standards; follow GMP/GDP practices.
Record activities on job tracking system.
Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
