Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by setting up and operating CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes within tight tolerances. You may perform some programming and must follow GMP/GDP and OOQ quality standards.

Responsibilities include designing new setups, adjusting offsets and tooling, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting programs. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC programming a plus (some programming may be required).
• Preferred: associate degree/certificate in tooling & machining or machinist apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within specs.
• Propose new setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Perform difficult CNC work with close tolerances across various metals.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Maintain quality via OOQ standards and measurement gear.
