Tecomet is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist III to produce machined parts by operating, setting up and potentially programming CNC mills, Wire EDMs and CNC lathes. You will read blueprints, maintain tolerances, and uphold GMP/GDP and OOQ standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tools as part of new setups.
• Perform difficult CNC machining with close tolerances and read blueprints/specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; ensure quality per OOQ standards.
• Assist Engineering with fixtures redesigns to improve quality and productivity.
• Record activities on the job tracking system and maintain 5S housekeeping.
