Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, wires EDMs, and lathes to tight tolerances in accordance with drawings and work instructions.

The role requires strong attention to detail, mathematical ability, and a commitment to safety and GMP practices. Candidates should have 5+ years of CNC machining experience and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot and understand CNC programs and processes.
• Improve and produce work Instructions.
• Adhere to GMP/GDP and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Perform routine maintenance as per PM schedule.
• Record activities in the job tracking system.
