Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III for our manufacturing team. You will operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes to tight tolerances, following engineering drawings and work instructions. The role emphasizes quality, safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has strong math skills, good reading of technical drawings, and a proven ability to produce high-quality parts on time while maintaining GMP/GDP standards.

Qualifications

• Read and follow technical drawings and diagrams.
• Program CNC machines with supervision.
• Strong math skills for measurement and counting.
• Maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Commitment to GMP/GDP and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up CNC mills, wires EDMs, and lathes within tolerances.
• Read blueprints and evaluate specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Propose new setups and adjust tooling/offsets as needed.
• Maintain daily PM checks and record activity in the tracking system.
• Assist in making fixture improvements and tooling changes.
• Train new machinists and support continuous improvement.
