Job summary

Invio Automation is seeking a machinist to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring tools and to study blueprints for proper setups. You’ll select tools, set speeds and feeds, and operate CNC controls to produce precise parts.

Applicants should read blueprints, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment. The role requires physical work with occasional overtime and a focus on reliability and accuracy in a diverse manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Study machining instructions, job orders or blueprints to determine dimensions and tooling
• Set cutting speeds, feed rates, depths of cut, and select tools per instructions

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints to determine specifications, sequences, setups and tooling
• Operate and program CNC controls using EZ CAM / Master CAM
• Position and secure work pieces and verify alignment with fixtures
• Control machine feeds, coolant flow and tool engagement
• Maintain quality standards and support overtime as needed
