Job summary

Tecomet in Hatboro, PA is seeking a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and potentially program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes to produce precision parts. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling, and ensure products meet tight tolerances using OOQ standards.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong problem solving and safety awareness. Associates degree or apprenticeship is a plus; UK-specific GCSE/NVQ is only relevant for UK

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
5+ years CNC Machining experience.
Associate degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
GCSE/NVQ Maths and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
Propose new production setups and change offsets/tooling as part of new setup.
Perform difficult CNC Machinist work with very close tolerances.
Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
Improve and produce work instructions.
Assist Engineering with redesigning fixtures to increase quality and productivity.
Ensure product quality meets OOQ standards using measuring equipment.
Propose adjusted speeds and feeds for different machining requirements.
Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and PM schedule.
Perform hand finishing.
Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
Identify and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
Record activities in job tracking system.
Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
