Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III to produce precision parts by operating and setting up CNC mills, wires EDMs, and lathes. You will follow drawings and procedures, maintain quality standards, and document work while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to train others. Safety and GMP practices are emphasized in daily work and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with precision CNC machining and close tolerances.
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with GMP/GDP practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, wire EDMs, and lathes within tolerance.
• Propose new setups and adjust offsets/tooling as part of new production.
• Perform complex machining on various metals with tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints/specifications and ensure QA during production.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; improve work instructions.
• Support design changes to fixtures and tooling for quality.
• Maintain safety and proper documentation per GMP/GDP.
• Record activities in the job-tracking system and meet productivity targets.
