Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a skilled Production Machinist to support precision manufacturing. You will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce components that meet exact specifications with a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of machining experience, proficiency in G-code/CAM software, and strong problem-solving ability. The role requires reading blueprints and GD&T and working in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years machining experience in manufacturing.
• Experience programming CNC machines with G-code and/or CAM software.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, materials, and tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges and precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens or similar controls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Read blueprints and GD&T per work instructions.
• Create/edit CNC programs using CAM software and machine controls.
• Select tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process QC checks.
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust programs or settings as needed.
• Optimize cycle times and processes to reduce scrap.
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality.
