ST Engineering MRAS in Baltimore is seeking a CNC Machinist Operator to set up, load, and run NC machines across multiple axes. You will validate fixtures and tools, verify dimensions, and document machine progress while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The role requires 3–4 years of CNC experience or a trade certificate, with strong math, drawings interpretation, and precision measurement skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years CNC operator experience or a trade school certificate.
• Knowledge of NC setup and operation.
• Ability to read sketches, drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, load and preset cutting tools to torque values.
• Load fixtures, verify offsets, and ensure program correctness.
• Record actions and maintain logs; communicate tool status.
• Operate large 5-axis/multi-axis machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor quality and dimensions across production runs.
