Job summary

Tecomet, a precision manufacturing company in the greater Philadelphia area, is seeking a CNC Machinist III to produce high-accuracy components.

You will operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and possibly program, reading blueprints and maintaining stringent quality.

Candidates should have 5+ years of CNC experience; Associates degree preferred; the role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Maths and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes.
• Read and evaluate blueprints or specifications.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure product quality with operator-owned quality (OOQ) standards and measurement tools.
