Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Machinist III to perform precision machining on graphite and specialty materials. The role requires operating advanced CNC mills and grinders, reading blueprints, and following strict SOPs to deliver high-quality parts on schedule.

Responsibilities include programming updates, collaboration with programmers, and maintaining safe work practices across all shifts. A high school diploma and precision metrology skills are required, with CMM experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.
• Experience using a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) a plus
• Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods.
• Ability to make complex code adjustments within program.
• Experience using programming software a plus.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Astute attention to detail to drive safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate 4th & 5th axis mills, live tooling lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment.
• Complete machining tasks within a customer job.
• Make complex code adjustments within program.
• Collaborate with programmers on program/fixture creation for new parts.
• Create hand-typed CNC code (chip prevention lines, fixturing).
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing guidelines to produce high-quality products.
• Follow weekly scheduled work to track with on-time shipping.
• May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
