Qualifications

• Journeyman Machinist or Tool & Die maker certification or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of relevant machining experience
• Proficiency operating CNC equipment including boring mill
• Ability to produce machined parts incl. prototype equipment with minimal supervision
• Expertise in holding and tooling for blow molding processes
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Work with metric and inch measurement systems
• Knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA safety standards

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with safety standards (OSHA/MIOSHA) and company rules
• Plan and execute machining tasks from work orders, blueprints, and tolerances
• Configure and operate CNC mills and lathes, set parameters, verify settings
• Maintain quality by measuring, troubleshooting, and following QA procedures
• Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping
• Collaborate with supervision, engineering, and production to resolve issues
• Operate power equipment and material handling equipment
• Use hand tools and work in metric/inch systems
• Submit daily time accounting and payroll information
