Job summary

MicroPort is seeking a Sr. Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC and manual machines to produce medical devices from setup to final output.

The role requires solid knowledge of mills and lathes, ability to read blueprints, and strict adherence to QA requirements. You will train other machinists and lead 6S improvements. This first shift position runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to contribute to process enhancements and work alongside a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with CNC machines and reading blueprints.
• Attention to quality and detail, able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC/Manual machines such as mills and lathes.
• Manufacture medical devices that conform to specifications and QA requirements.
• Attain production quotas and maintain accurate records.
• Enter production data into MicroPort systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with process improvements.
• Train other machinists in core duties and lead 6S initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and improve processes.
