Job summary

Magnaflow is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to setup and operate a range of machine tools including CNCs and lathes, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet exact specs. Responsible for programming, tooling, and process improvements to boost quality and productivity.

The role requires 6–10+ years of CNC experience, 5+ years programming, and strong leadership. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certificate or Associate degree in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
CNC Programming certification or Journeyman Machinist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical expert for CNC machining operations, programming, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Lead complex machine setups, first article inspections, and production optimization activities.
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex machining, tooling, programming, and equipment issues with minimal downtime.
Lead machining process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods.
Coordinate prototype machining and support new product development and launches.
Mentor and train Associate CNC Machinists and CNC Machinists on procedures and safety.
