Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist for our Milton, Vermont campus to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC equipment to produce precision parts with tight tolerances. You will work from blueprints and work instructions, maintaining a safe, clean and productive shop environment.

With 8+ years of CNC machining experience, you will read blueprints, select tooling, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine controls and G-code basics.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, drills, grinders and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain tooling and select the correct tools for each operation.
• Inspect completed parts using measuring instruments and gauges to ensure conformance.
• Perform part cleaning and finishing operations as required.
• Make quality decisions regarding part conformance and workmanship.
• Collaborate with Quality, Programming, Engineering and Maintenance teams to meet objectives.
• Provide training or guidance to other technicians as needed.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
