Job summary

Amtec Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Machinist III to program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, reading 3D drawings and applying precise math to machining tasks.

The senior machinist will lead other team members, collaborate with the shop manager to plan work, and maintain high quality while supporting QA, sales, and management to meet deadlines. 10+ years of experience and CAM software proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret 3D drawings, in print and CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to modify CAD/CAM drawings as appropriate.
• Advanced knowledge of 3-axis, 3+2-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers with live tooling.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Lead other team members and communicate requirements to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with shop manager to plan work and priorities.
• Support quality, sales and management to meet objectives and deadlines.
