Qualifications

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Extensive setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills.

• Able to troubleshoot machining and quality issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complete setups on CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Apply GD&T to determine setup strategy, inspection requirements, and process capability.
• Select tooling, work holding, and machining strategies for efficient production.
• Troubleshoot machines, tooling, programming, and quality issues.
• Optimize machining processes for cycle time, tool life, and quality performance.
• Perform first article inspections and support process validations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
• Mentor Machinist I, II, and III personnel and lead improvement initiatives.
