Job summary

Volt is immediately hiring CNC Machinist IV for a local leading manufacturing company in Miramar, CA. In this full‑time temp‑to‑hire role, you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines, adjust Haas and Fanuc controls, and ensure precision with calipers and gauges.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of vertical/horizontal CNC mill experience, familiarity with Mastercam/SolidWorks, and a solid understanding of G-code.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with vertical and horizontal CNC mill machines.
• Familiar with Mastercam or SolidWorks; strong Haas/Fanuc CNC control knowledge.
• Knowledge of G-code (G & M codes) and ability to follow drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC Milling Machines.
• Adjust Haas and Fanuc CNC controls as needed.
• Use precision measuring tools accurately (calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Identify and report machine issues; perform routine checks.
• Follow SOPs and drawings with minimal supervision.
• Seek ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Learn machine setup processes as needed.
