Mach Industries in California is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to oversee end-to-end operation of CNC mills, lathes, and up to 5-axis machines for precision aerospace components. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot advanced machining processes, ensuring quality and on-time production.

The role requires 3+ years of setup experience, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to work independently or on off-shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining set-up experience on manual mill, lathe and 5-axis systems.
• Ability to work independently or on off-shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes and 5-axis machines with minimal supervision.
• Set up multi-axis CNC mills and lathes and perform changeovers.
• Inspect parts with hand tools and CMMs to verify dimensions and quality.
• Maintain tight tolerances for aerospace components and document logs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate with shop leadership.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement and process development.
• Complete preventive maintenance on equipment.
