Job summary

Machinists Incorporated is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II to join our team on Swing Shift (Monday through Thursday, 2:20 p.m. – 12:50 a.m.).

You will set up and operate large and medium-sized multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to produce prototypes and low-volume precision components for aerospace, defense, energy, and tooling. You will read blueprints, inspect parts with precision measuring tools, and work with materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining in high‑mix, low‑volume environments.
• Experience with multi‑axis mills/lathes.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools.
• Willing to work Swing Shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines.
• Machine prototype, one-off, and low-volume production components to precise specs.
• Work with materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and fellow machinists to ensure on-time delivery.
