Jobot is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist in the San Diego area for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to ensure top-quality parts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming, blueprint reading, mill operation and lathe operation experience.
• A related field qualification is advantageous.
• Proven experience operating CNC machines and understanding their functions.
• Strong technical skills to read and interpret complex blueprints/drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Program CNC machines using required codes for accurate manufacturing.
• Operate mills and lathes, adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Perform regular machine checks, diagnose faults, and conduct basic maintenance.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for timely delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
