Job summary

Collins Mfg in Florida is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the Milling Department. The right candidate will set up and operate CNC machinery, preferably DMG Mori and HAAS, to produce precision components while upholding quality in a fast-paced shop.

You will read blueprints, perform complex setups, follow work orders, document paperwork, and maintain a clean, safe work area. The role demands strong shop math, problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work under

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years related experience in manufacturing or machine shop.
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy.
• Must multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and works well with all members of the organization.
• DMG Mori and HAAS experience a plus.
• Experience Troubleshooting dimensional and tooling issues.
• Experience with tooling, feeds/speeds, tool life and optimizing.
• Part process and fixture design experience a plus.
• Optimize process to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Mechanical inspection knowledge and GD&T.
• Able to read and edit G-Code/M-Code to optimize parameters.

Responsibilities

JobSummary:

Precisioncontract machining business is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to workin the Milling Department. Preferably experienced with DMG Mori Machines.
