Job summary

Collins Mfg in the United States is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to work in the Milling Department, preferably with DMG Mori and HAAS experience. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components in a fast-paced shop.

You will read blueprints, perform complex setups, verify tolerances with gauges, and maintain quality while keeping a clean, safe work area. Prior manufacturing experience and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years related experience – preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• DMG Mori and HAAS experience a plus.

Job Summary:

Precision contract machining business is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work in the Milling Department. Preferably experienced with DMG Mori Machines. The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC machinery to produce precision components while maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to standard work practices within all quality and performance standards
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Follow production work orders and documents
• Neatly and accurately complete all required paperwork
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Perform complex setups on new and repeat parts per work instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• Experience Troubleshooting dimensional and tooling issues.
• Experience with tooling, feeds/speeds, tool life and optimizing
• Part process and fixture design experience a plus
• Optimize process to achieve maximum efficiency
• Mechanical inspection knowledge and GDamp;T
• Able to read and edit G-Code/M-Code to optimize parameters
