Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled Machinist III to manufacture high‑precision aerospace components using CNC lathes and milling capabilities. You’ll set up machines, inspect parts, and interpret complex drawings with GD&T, all while ensuring tight tolerances and quality.

The role offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and a full benefits package. Qualified candidates have at least 4 years of CNC machining experience, preferably on lathes and mills, with G‑code knowledge; Fanuc controls a plus and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; able to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• At least 4 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably with lathe and mill machines.
• Familiarity with G-Code; Fanuc controls a plus; knowledge of B axis Mill Turns a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC lathes with milling capabilities to close tolerances and complex geometry.
• Inspect finished parts and adjust gauges, detect issues and read blueprints/operation sheets (GD&T).
• Interpret complex drawings, GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.
• Work under minimal supervision and assist in planning work within the cell.
