Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist in Moorpark, CA on 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to fabricate precision parts per work orders and blueprints. Most runs are 10–500 pieces, with tight tolerances and aerospace materials.

Requirements include 5+ years on multi-axis CNC equipment, reading engineering drawings, and ability to work with little supervision. ESPRIT/Mastercam experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• 5+ years in multi-axis CNC lathes and mills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision; lead experience a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate blueprints and develop machining strategies.
• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and lathes.
• Verify part conformance using precision measuring equipment.
• Revise programs based on engineering or production changes.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and production issues on the shop floor.
• Machine prototype and production hardware.
