Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) seeks a qualified CNC Swiss Machinist in Moorpark, CA. The role reports to the Machine Shop Manager and involves fabricating precision parts with a Swiss CNC center; parts are small (12” max) and runs are typically short (10–500 pieces).

The candidate must read engineering drawings, have 3+ years CNC operation experience with setup, and 1+ year Swiss machining experience.

Competenze

Must read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Minimum 3 years' CNC operation experience with setup.
Minimum 1 year operating Swiss style machining center.
Experience with Citizen A20, L20 or M32 is a plus.
Lead experience a plus; ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must meet ITAR and BATFE background requirements.

Mansioni

Set up and operate Swiss CNC machining center per work orders, routers and blueprints.
Run first-piece articles and prepare for inspection.
Verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
Change tools and offsets based on cutting conditions.
Use appropriate feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters for materials like aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, etc.
Revise programs as needed based on design changes.
Troubleshoot CNC programming and production issues on the shop floor.
Perform other related duties as required.
