Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Five years of machining experience with extensive changeover work.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine equipment, tooling, and programming issues.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Extensive tooling knowledge including inspection gauges and related devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow production system procedures and participate in daily shift start-up meetings.
• Perform advanced machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments per standard work.
• Monitor outputs and adjust tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools.
• Lead process improvements to enhance quality and safety.
• Assist with new equipment and production-method implementations.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
• Document production activities accurately and maintain records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Serve as SME for assigned equipment and mentor junior operators.
