Job summary

Sigma Design in Hood River, Oregon is seeking a Production Machining Supervisor to oversee CNC machining operations, manage staff, tooling, and maintenance, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams. This is a direct placement for a client with strong aerospace manufacturing exposure.

The role requires leadership, CAD/CNC programming experience, GD&T expertise, and a solid understanding of AS9100 environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in CAD and CNC Programming.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Advanced on the job training can be provided).
• Understanding of aerospace product requirements and AS9100 environments.
• Self-starter with the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Support production management to meet goals and deadlines.
• Champion excellence in CNC machining and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor and elevate CNC staff, tooling and equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve designs for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Communicate milestones and obstacles to management and propose solutions.
