Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with G-code programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with setup reduction techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven ability to train and mentor CNC Operators and Setup Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes (turning, drilling, boring, threading, milling, tapping) per drawings.
• Edit, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs to improve cycle times and quality.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Maintain records of setups, tooling changes, and quality inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement in tooling, parameters, and setup practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Tooling and Quality teams.
