Job summary

Prototool LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can independently program, set up, machine, inspect, and troubleshoot prototype, tooling, repair, and production components. This skilled role requires maintaining high quality and efficiency while solving manufacturing challenges.

The candidate will interpret drawings, develop processes, select tooling, perform full setups, and conduct first article and final inspections to meet prints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CNC lathe setup experience preferred.
• Ability to independently program, set up, and run CNC lathes.
• Strong understanding of G-code programming and machining principles.
• Ability to read complex drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient with precision inspection equipment.

Responsibilities
