Job summary

Elmet Technologies is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist in Euclid, Ohio. You will set up and operate CNC lathes to machine precision components from specialized materials, reading blueprints and specifications, and performing first articles for inspection.

This experienced role requires hands‑on CNC setup across turning, drilling, reaming, and boring, with a focus on tolerances and precision. Competitive pay and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of CNC machining experience.
• Competency in blueprint interpretation, tolerances, and precision measurement.
• Experience operating CNC lathes and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes from setup through machining and inspection.
• Read blueprints, routing sheets, and technical specs.
• Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, and machining sequences.
• Prepare and preset tools for CNC equipment.
• Mount, align, and secure fixtures and workpieces.
• Load preprogrammed instructions and adjust controls as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring equipment.
