Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Set-Up CNC Burn Table Operator in Clackamas, OR. The role focuses on operating and setting up CNC Burn Table, AngleMaster, Beamline and related equipment to produce precise structural steel parts.

The candidate will verify programs, load tooling, read blueprints, and ensure quality according to customer specs. Overtime and full-time hours available with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of CNC operation in structural steel fabrication.
• Experience with Peddinghaus equipment (AngleMaster, Burn Table, Beamline) preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer drawings; verify CNC programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC equipment for cutting, drilling, punching, coping, and marking structural steel.
• Verify programs, select tooling, and ensure accurate setup before production.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy using calipers and micrometers.
• Assist with program optimization and quality assurance with programmers.
