Job summary

Braun Intertec in Bismarck, ND is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to support our local projects. You will perform sampling and testing of soils, concrete, and masonry in field settings, record results, and help ensure compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong safety focus and attention to detail required.
• Excellent plan reading and math/technical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and masonry.
• Perform field concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature) and density tests.
• Prepare daily reports and documentation of field activities in electronic format.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff as needed.
