Braun Intertec Corporation in Fargo, ND is seeking Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians to perform testing on soils, concrete, and masonry across regional projects. Onsite testing with hands-on training and industry certifications will prepare you for a growing backlog in a 100% employee-owned company.

You will conduct field tests (slump, air content, density) and prepare daily reports, while collaborating with project managers and senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent planning and math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and masonry.
• Conduct field concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature).
• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Prepare daily reports and document field activities electronically.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior staff to ensure specifications are followed.
• Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff.

Braun Intertec is seeking Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians to join our Fargo team! As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, and masonry. Onsite materials testing is conducted on various industrial, commercial and transportation construction projects located throughout the region. As a technician, you will receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstration of ability. Responsibilities

• Perform routine & complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and masonry.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and temperature.
• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Prepare daily reports and documentation of field activities in electronic format.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians or staff to ensure specifications are followed.
• Assist with training & mentoring of junior staff, as needed.

• Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• At times, this position may be working at or on uneven terrain, varying heights, in confined spaces, or supported trenches.

Compensation Range: $50,000.00 - $74,000.00
