Job summary
Horizontal Digital is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to translate business needs into well-structured user stories for enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore. This role partners with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure backlog is clear, feasible, and aligned with goals.
You’ll collaborate on scope management, identify risks, participate in sprint planning and user acceptance testing, and help teams deliver high-quality digital experiences for Fortune 500
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital initiatives, software development, or IT projects as a Business Systems Analyst or similar.
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred).
- Familiarity with ERP, PIM, marketing automation, personalization, or customer service tools.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into well-structured user stories with descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog refinement to keep requirements clear, feasible, and aligned with goals.
- Assist in solution design sessions with documentation and clarifications.
- Document changes for scope management and escalate risks or blockers.
- Gather stakeholder input to inform backlog prioritization and act as liaison between business and technical teams.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure delivery readiness and quality.
