Job summary

Intel Corporation's Logic Technology Development (LTD) division seeks a CMP Process Development Engineer to advance planarization techniques for diverse materials and device architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

You will apply chemistry, materials science and engineering principles to optimize polishing processes, select materials, and tune equipment for robust yields in state-of-the-art semiconductor

Qualifications

• Five-plus years of semiconductor processing/fabrication experience (minimum).
• Hands-on CMP process tuning and characterization experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CMP consumables and metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future tech.
• Lead design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes and reverse engineering tasks.
• Develop roadmaps for technologies enabling future product architectures.
• Recommend modifications to operating equipment to improve production efficiency and output.
• Collaborate with equipment and materials suppliers to implement enabling elements of technology.
• Conduct feasibility studies through theory and practical engineering methods.
• Stay updated on industry trends to forecast future Intel process technology needs.
