Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Los Alamitos, CA seeks an experienced CMM inspector/programmer to join the precision inspection team. You will program, set up and run Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines using Calypso, and operate Metronics QC5000 and Romer Arm Verisurf systems on production parts.

The role requires reading aerospace blueprints, applying trigonometry and descriptive geometry, and maintaining accurate inspection records while ensuring parts meet tolerance limits.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years technical college/trade school or equivalent.
• 7+ years aerospace precision inspection experience.
• Must read/interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Zeiss Calypso and related inspection software.

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up and run Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software.
• Program, set-up and operate Metronics QC5000 CMM and Romer Arm Verisurf.
• Maintain CMM cleanliness and inspection data.
• Interpret complex tool drawings and record inspection results.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Tool Control.
• Train others and support production as needed.
