Job summary

Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to develop and optimize high-quality ZEISS Calypso programs for complex parts at Grove City, OH. The role emphasizes accurate measurement, process ownership, and collaboration with Quality and Production teams to ensure first-pass qualification.

You will work with Zeiss Calypso on Contura CMMs, read GD&T, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on Calypso programming experience.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Competitive programming times.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software for Contura CMMs.
Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments.
Plan inspections, including ballooning drawings.
Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications.
Support troubleshooting and validation to reach first-article qualification quickly.
Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to measure parts correctly the first time.
Provide insights to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency.
