Job summary

Middleville Engineered Solutions in Michigan is seeking a Senior CMM Programmer to lead our dimensional laboratory, develop measurement programs from scratch, and partner with engineering and production teams.

You will write and optimize CMM programs from 3D CAD and blueprints, interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5, support APQP/PPAP during new product launches, troubleshoot dimensional issues, and manage lab calibration and organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on CMM programming in high-precision manufacturing (automotive preferred).
• Proficient in PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent CMM software.
• Expert GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to read complex drawings and CAD files.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize CMM programs from 3D CAD models and blueprints.
• Serve as GD&T subject matter expert to ensure customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering during APQP/PPAP for fixtures and measurement protocols.
• Troubleshoot dimensional discrepancies and root cause analysis.
• Manage calibration schedules and maintain lab organization.
