Job summary

Divergent is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to ensure precision and quality of manufactured components within a high-mix environment. You will develop PC-DMIS programs, perform on-machine inspection, and interpret complex GD&T data to drive repeatable measurement strategies.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in CMM programming and metrology within a precision or high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Expert-level skill with PC-DMIS and Hexagon CMM systems (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex 3D geometries.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS on Hexagon systems to inspect precision components.
• Perform hands-on CMM operation and dimensional analysis for additively manufactured and machined parts.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to create accurate, repeatable measurement strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues and improve manufacturability.
• Support development of automated and integrated inspection processes, connecting metrology data with manufacturing systems.
