Job summary

MSI Viking is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to develop and execute PC-DMIS programs for dimensional inspection. You will interpret CAD models, troubleshoot measurement issues, and deliver accurate inspection results while supporting customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, 3+ years of PC-DMIS experience, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM programming using PC-DMIS.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
• Ability to interpret complex CAD drawings and models.
• Experience in quality assurance and inspection processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS.
• Develop inspection programs from CAD models and drawings.
• Operate and troubleshoot CMM equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspections and analyze results.
• Apply GD&T to programming activities.
• Conduct measurement system analysis and provide guidance.
• Document results and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to resolve issues.
• Support quality and inspection activities per procedures.
