Job summary

stellantisexternalcx is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator to operate and program CMMs and related measurement equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting. The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and manuals to develop measurement programs and validate part quality.

The candidate should have 4+ years of CMM programming/operating experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate results clearly in detailed reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of combined experience and training as a CMM programmer/operator.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics, algebra and physics.
• Experience as a CMM programmer/operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Ability to read blueprints/ drawings to plan CMM programs.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMMs and other measurement equipment.
• Create and execute measurement programs to validate part quality.
• Prepare reports communicating measurement results.
• Interpret specifications and GD&T from blueprints to guide measurements.
