Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspections.
  • Develop, maintain, back up, and update CMM programs.
  • Program CMMs using Calypso or PCDMIS software.
  • Perform in-process, first-off, receiving and final inspections.
  • Interpret GD&T, drawings, CAD data and 3D models.
  • Provide dimensional feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Verify fixtures and gauge calibration activities.
  • Manage calibration and maintenance of CMMs, fixtures, probes.
  • Review inspection programs for effectiveness and current revisions.
  • Create and update operator instructions for fixtures and programs.
  • Train operators on CMM programs and inspection procedures.
  • Evaluate results and communicate quality concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support our Engineering and Manufacturing teams by providing accurate dimensional inspection and feedback to ensure product quality and integrity.

This role will be responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment, interpreting inspection data, and maintaining inspection programs for products, fixtures, and gauges.

What You’ll Do
  • Program and operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspections.
  • Develop, maintain, back up, and update CMM programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Program CMMs using Calypso or PCDMIS software.
  • Perform in-process, first-off, receiving, and final inspections as needed.
  • Interpret GD&T, engineering drawings, CAD data, and 3D models.
  • Provide dimensional feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing teams.
  • Verify fixtures and support gauge calibration activities.
  • Manage CMM, fixture, and probing-system calibration and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of metrology inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of CMM programming experience using Calypso or PCDMIS.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency working with CAD data and 3D models.
  • Experience with CMM inspection, programming, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret dimensional data.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred, or equivalent combination of experience, training, or certifications.
