Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CMM Programmer for an on-site, permanent role in Arlington, WA. You will program, validate, and optimize CMM inspections, translating drawings into effective inspection plans and coordinates with machinists to ensure first article and production part conformity.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in mechanical inspection, strong blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and experience with MCOSMOS or similar systems. On-site position with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and creating CMM programs from drawings.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Programs, sets up, and operates CMM to inspect parts with close tolerances.
• Creates CMM programs from customer drawings and models to verify machining results.
• Interprets drawings to develop inspection approaches and verifies first article and production parts.
• Maintains equipment and keeps the inspection area clean and organized.
• Collaborates with machinists and supports quality management initiatives.
