Job summary

Castelion is seeking a CMM Programmer/Dimensional Inspector to support the manufacturing of precision mechanical components at our Torrance facility. You will develop and execute PC-DMIS inspection programs, perform traditional dimensional inspection, and ensure parts meet drawings and quality requirements throughout production.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering, interpret GD&T and drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

5+ years of PC-DMIS programming and CMM operation in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
Ability to create, debug, and optimize CMM inspection programs from drawings and CAD models.
Experience with GD&T, fixture setup, and verification of complex geometries.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and execute CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS.
Program CMM routines for complex geometries and GD&T callouts.
Create and maintain inspection programs for repeat and first article inspections.
Perform CMM setup, calibration, and fixture configuration.
Import CAD models for programming and inspection; generate detailed reports.
