Qualifications

• 10+ years of CMM programming and inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Expertise with BearServe software for developing, executing, and maintaining CMM inspection programs (required).
• Hands-on experience programming and operating CMM equipment for complex geometries.
• Expert-level blueprint reading skills with strong proficiency in interpreting GD&T requirements.
• Proven ability to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision components.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to validate dimensional accuracy.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve dimensional and quality issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no supervision while managing multiple tasks.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document inspection results and quality findings clearly and accurately.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and inspection best practices.
• Proficiency in applying GD&T principles to develop effective inspection strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain CMM inspection programs for complex components using BearServe software.
• Program and operate CMM equipment to perform accurate and repeatable measurements.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance to engineering requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to define appropriate inspection strategies.
• Analyze dimensional data to identify trends and root causes of nonconforming conditions.
• Troubleshoot dimensional and measurement issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality concerns and optimize inspection methods.
• Generate clear and complete inspection reports and quality documentation to support internal and external requirements.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing inspection data, documentation, and technical explanations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection methods, measurement systems, and quality processes.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to validate CMM results and ensure measurement integrity.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with applicable quality system standards and customer specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to inspection and quality personnel as needed.
